Our approach
Practical support, led with communities.
RACE delivers inclusive programmes that help people protect their rights, strengthen livelihoods, build peace and prepare for shocks.
Programme areas
Five areas of work. One commitment to self-reliance.
Our programmes are designed with people affected by poverty, conflict, displacement and climate pressures—combining immediate support with longer-term community capacity.
Food Security & Livelihoods
Agricultural training, farmer groups, livestock support, climate-resilient practices, savings groups and microenterprise development.
GBV Prevention & Response
Awareness, advocacy, safe spaces, survivor-centred support and engagement of men and boys as allies for equality.
Peacebuilding & Good Governance
Peace dialogue, reconciliation, community committees, traditional justice support, civic education and accountability.
Women & Youth Empowerment
Leadership and entrepreneurship training, skills development, savings access and advocacy for social and economic rights.
Emergency Response & Risk Reduction
Preparedness, disaster-risk mitigation, local disaster management committees and emergency relief when communities need it.

“Our role is to strengthen local systems by widening access to the knowledge, resources and opportunities people need to lead their own development.”
RACE missionOur strategy
Community members are partners in every stage.
Who we serve
Working alongside people most affected by inequality and crisis.
Let’s create lasting, community-led progress.
